Thika Member of Parliament Alice Ng’ang’a has promised the area business persons better terms of work by the end of this financial year.

The MP said that she is initiating projects to make Thika town a 24 hour economy.

She said that Thika town has many potential business owners who are willing to invest the time to earn a living but only lack the chance to validate their dreams.

“Thika has business people who are ready to work towards building the nation, thus in partnership with the investors, we will make their dreams come true,” said Ng’ang’a.

The MP spoke at the town when she interacted with business persons on Thursday and said that with the help of the private sector and investors from the Asian community for example, she is looking forward to establishing a working town.

The legislator also expressed her concern with regards to the increasing cases of crime and vowed to work hand in hand with the security chiefs in the area to catch the criminals.

She further called on the county government to fast-track on their road expansion and fitting of flood lights in various areas.

She affirmed that she will not relent in delivering the services as mandated and will push for development in the whole constituency.
