Kitutu Masaba MP Timothy Bosire has said that the disbursement of bursaries in his constituency is underway, as road construction projects are sped up in view of next year's election.
On his Facebook account on Monday, the MP insisted on the importance of education and their willingness to improve the sector.
"We are striving to make Kitutu Masaba a place we can call home. Either, the bursaries committee is through with allocations and all deserving cases have been considered. Disbursement is underway and soon beneficiaries will be notified," stated Bosire.
The MP further stated that tarmacking of Manga - Magombo road is starting soon.
"Manga - Magombo road all through to Amabuko is among my key priorities. I am in constant communication with the contractor, I can confirm that tarmacking of Kemera - Tombe section will begin soon. The contractor will provide alternative drive ways during the period," said Bosire.
Bosire too added that he is working with the county government on improving feeder roads within the constituency.
