Choosing a leader is every person’s right. This means every person who is at the age of 18 years and above is allowed to participate in democracy.

In a study conducted on Thursday by Mzalendo Trust Foundation, some of the senators were called out and ranked the worst performers. According to the study, some MPs are never willing to talk in parliament.

It is shocking that they are 27 MPs who did not speak in parliament in 2015. The question is how then could they be representing their people if they never bring people's problem before the parliament and seek a solution?

Among the senators named was Sonko who was voted among the worst performing senators alongside the nominated, Hosea Ochwangi. However, some MPs have never given their maiden speeches since they were elected in the past election. Some of them are Tirus Ngahu, Alex Kosgey, Rai Gonzi, Oscar Sudi and Kipruto Moi.
