Juja MP Francis Munyua has urged the community to work together saying that it would help them push the development of the region to greater heights.
He was speaking at Gachororo shopping center on Monday where he said that the government was putting effort in uplifting the community through different funds that have been introduced adding that he had introduced the disbursement of the Uwezo fund through the location level where the community had the power to identify important projects that could be worked on. He said this would help the community to develop the most vital projects and also help the neediest people in the community through the kitty.
He cited corruption as the cause of scarce resources and asked the community to help shun the corrupt members in the different bursary and other kitties committees to enhance proper use of the money. He called upon the members of the public to desist from leaders who incite them to cause chaos and asked the Juja people to accept change and development instead of political drama all the time.
The leader has failed to comment on the recent demolitions of the market stalls in the area saying that he is investigating silently.
