Residents of Mzee wanyama village which is a few kilometres from Nakuru town have complained over the road that connects the village to the highway saying that the roads is impassable especially during this rainy season. They further complained that due to the impassable road, matatu operators avoided the route therefore forcing the residents to walk.
They said that for a long time, the road has not been repaired and that they are now urging the county government to put murram on the road. Allan Azanga, a resident in the area said that even bicycles cannot use the road and that residents are often forced to wear gumboots.
"We want the government to do something about this road as we have suffered for long time,"said Azenga
Sarah wanjiru, another resident also from Mzee wanyama village urged the government to put murram on the road noting that it was the only road that connected the village to Pipeline and other trading centers like Barnabas.
"The government should put murram on this road since it is the only one that connects the village to the nearest shopping centers," said Wanjiru.
