Nakuru residents have appealed to governor Kinuthia Mbugua and senator James Mungai to end their differences and work together to ensure the county develops.
They expressed concerns that disagreements between the two are hurting the county.
“They are engaged in war of words which has made our county lag behind when it came to development issues. As a county, we are dragging behind and there is no development,” Joyce Kerubo said.
They were speaking to the press in Nakuru town when they also challenged the speaker Susan Kihika and the local Members of County Assembly and the Members of Parliament to work in unison
“It is unfortunate Nakuru has been on the press for all the wrong reasons. This has really dented the image of this county,” Priscilla Njambi said .
“They should respect the will of the people,” she added.
