A section of Nakuru Town West residents have fired a warning salvo to their lawmaker Samuel Arama to either stick with the opposition or forget the seat in the next election.
Speaking to this writer on Thursday, residents said they are not taking lightly the unwarranted attacks the legislator is firing at his sponsor party Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) .
They warned Arama to either shape up or shape out.
"He has a good track record, however, we want to see him in ODM because that is where we all belong. If he won’t do so, then his reelection is as good as gone," David Ochieng, a resident, said.
"Arama is being misled by some Jubilee politicians and that will be very detrimental to him in the long run because the whole Nakuru town west constituency is Corded. Let him change tact and come back home before it is too late," Agnes Bikundo said.
The same sentiments were echoed by Albert Osero who said that it was time Arama mended fences with his party for the sake of his reelection.
Osero reiterated that it was not too late for the MP to make an about-turn and drop his hardline stance on opposition affairs.
The first time legislator is the only opposition MP in Nakuru County but he has been going against his party.
