The 2015 KCSE results have been released at Mtihani house this morning with 70% cheating irregularities reported as the candidates who sat for the exams cheated in the exams.
Speaking this morning at Mtihani house, education cabinet secretary, Fred Matiang’i said that a lot of cheating irregularities were reported in the 2015 KCSE exams.
Matiang’i said that more than 5,000 candidates’ results have been cancelled compared to the previous year’s irregularity cases that were reported whereby there were 2975 exam irregularities.
He further noted that there was an increase of 8.3% of the candidates who sat for the exams. The previous year had 485, 547 candidates who sat for KCSE exams and those who sat for 2015 KCSE exams last year were 525,802 candidates thus the 8.3% increase.
