Traders in Nguluni market in Matungulu sub county now want the idle youths around the market investigated due to the crimes going on in the area.
Speaking to this Hivisasa writer, some of the traders they explained that the high number of idle youths around the market is worrying.
"Nguluni market is full of idlers than any other market which is quite worrying since they could be the gangs terrorising people at night," said a shop keeper who refused to be identified.
The Nguluni nyumba kumi chairman Dominic Mwitiki said that the investigation is necessary adding that residents have complained for a long time and it was now time for action to be taken. He said that the youths are usually seen seated in groups idle chewing miraa thus prompting people to suspect them.
This comes 2 days after armed robbers invaded 2 homes in Komarock and Matumani where the Matungulu OCPD asked residents to assist the police in finding the culprits by reporting suspicious people.
