Nakuru County Commissioner Joshua Nkanatha has called on residents to be responsible people. 

 Speaking Tuesday at his office Nkanatha said residents can only abide by the existing laws and respect them if they become responsible.

Nkanatha added that Nakuru County would be a nice place to live in if everyone becomes responsible and does what is right. 

"As residents, we must be responsible and do what we are supposed to do at the right time . We should not be the kind of people who always break laws," he said. 

He added, "Our courts would be free if we all followed the law to the latter and even the prisons will be empty".
