Farmers in Nyamira county are happy with the ongoing rains that often occurs during the nights hence giving them enough time to work on their farms during the day.
Mrs. Edna Gechanga, a maize farmer at Makairo location in Nyamira South sub county expressed her satisfaction saying that the nocturnal rains spare the farmers by giving them the time to work on their farms without interruptions during the day.
“If the current trend of rainfall continues then farmers whose offices are farms are the happiest. Night rains provide adequate time for one to manage their farm closely during the day,” said Edna.
