A section of Kisii County residents have called on governor James Ongwae to inspect county projects done in all the 45 wards.
According to them there were many projects which commenced but have never been completed.
They said the inspections will fast track the projects.
The residents noted that it was important for the governor to follow up what was going on on the ground to ensure the projects are completed.
“We want our governor to inspect county projects because last week we heard from our MCAs that the county had completed several projects, some are written in the report yet they are not complete,” said Dickson Mokua, a resident.
“Our MCAs complain when millions of money are indicated to have been used in county projects yet nothing is on the ground, we want the governor to tell us the county projects done through inspection," said Victor Ogero, another resident.
Last week on Thursday, Kisii County Assembly Speaker Okerosi Ondieki and MCAs summoned the County Finance CeC Kodeck Omwancha and his officers for grilling on how county funds were spent on development projects.
The exercise was however postponed over unknown reasons.
