Kisii Governor James Ongwae has congratulated all candidates who sat the 2015 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exam for their remarkable performance.

Speaking on Thursday at Kisii School after the announcement of KCSE results by Education CS Fred Matiang'i, Ongwae thanked all students for embracing the spirit of hard work that has seen them realise these good results.

"As a county, we appreciate your hard work, commitment and diligence, which has seen you come out with success. We pray for you in your future endeavors, as you further your studies and support in building our county," said Mr Ongwae.

He added: "To all teachers, parents, guardians and other well wishers, thank you for your support in ensuring our candidates excelled in their exams. God bless you all."

Kisii National school led in Kisii County with a mean score of 10.0 followed by St Charles Lwanga Ichuni girls that obtained a mean score of 9.9.

Nyabururu Girls national school got a mean score of 9.7  while Nyakoiba posted a mean of 9.34 points.
