Kisumu Governor Jack Ranguma has dismissed claims that he is the owner of Vittoria apartments in Kisumu’s Milimani Estate.

He has in the recent past been accused of stealing funds from the public and using it to develop the apartments.

But during the official opening he sought to clear the air over the matter, terming what people have been saying as mere propaganda.

“Some people claim that I usually steal from public coffers and then come in the night to supervise the works. I want to state here that I am not the owner of these investment. Those who come to inspect or supervise the works come at night because I believe they used to do a lot of work at night. That was not me,” said Ranguma.

He went ahead to parade all the directors of the facility making them introduce themselves in front of everyone who was doubting what he said.
