They say some motorists have replaced the normal horns with some sensitive sound such as those of ambulance and firefighters vehicles.

They say it raises a lot of concern as some send a freaking effect, especially when used late at night.

The locals’ accuses the motorists of using these sirens late at night.

“I was once forced to rush out late at night as I heard sounds of sirens," said Kuya.

"I thought one of my neighbor’s houses was on fire which was very tragic only to spot a bodaboda operator speed away,” added kuya.

They now want the government to come in to address the issue.

"Some of these sirens should be reserved for specific uses especially during emergencies," said Ambicha.

"Some of the motorists don’t even understand their use and find it so fashionable which is very irritating causing a lot of unnecessary noise pollution,” added Ambicha.

The motorists, however, refuted the claims.

“Our customers find the sirens very fashionable and it helps us get more customers,” said Kisabuli.
