Nakuru residents have been challenged to use the newly launched Family Bank branch in Molo to seek loans that will help them engage in income generating activities geared towards at ensuring a stable economy.
Speaking during the bank's official opening on Friday, chairman Dr Wilfred Kiboro said the institution will have failed in its mandate if the residents will not make good use of it in terms of boosting their economic stability.
He exuded confidence in remaining relevant in the ever competitive market, arguing that Family Bank was an established brand in the East African region with its success stories speaking for itself.
"This is just one of our other branches in Nakuru County but being near our customers being one of our key operational values, we felt bringing our services closer to Molo people and its environments would save you the many inconveniences incurred as you seek financial assistance," he said.
Dr Kiboro called on groups, chamas, Sacco's, individuals and even the county government not to shy away from visiting the bank saying quality service delivery was their commitment.
"We operate on an open door policy where customer satisfaction is our greatest joy. Don't shy away, come let's share ideas and I believe through that, all of us will nurture a mutual business environment," he added.
The Bank was officially opened by Governor Kimuthia Mbugua at a ceremony attended by senior county government officials including deputy Governor Joseph Ruto, County Secretary Joseph Motari and area MP Jacob Macharia.
