Residents of Rhonda and Kaptembwa have raised concerns over huge gaping holes in the area.
The residents say that the holes pose a great danger to them, especially when it rains.
“Many drunk people have been falling in these gaping holes which are often as a result of the construction work going on in the area especially during the NYS project,” said Paul Muchai, a resident.
Muchai added that the residents were often forced to outsource soil to cover the holes.
“We are often forced to purchase soil to fill the holes to ensure that our children do not fall in them,” he added.
“Our cattle have been falling in the holes and it is very difficult to remove them from there,” said Margaret Nyawira.
