Ms Odinga spoke on Saturday at a funeral service of the late Michael Odote Ojiem at his home in Boya, Nyando sub county.

Odote was a member of the Luo Council of Elders.

She said the President has always visited other regions of the country for development projects, unlike in Kisumu.

"The President is coming to the county tomorrow. I would like to welcome him to Kisumu. However, Mr President, you go to other places to give charters and launch development projects but in Kisumu you only come to do harambees. I am kindly asking you that after the harambee tomorrow, please bring us development projects," said Ms Odinga.
