Police in Naivasha have arrested six suspects allegedly siphoning fuel from a transformer in the town.

Police said the six had already vandalised two transformers by the time police nailed them at a hiding in their hole.

Kenya Power has been raising alarm on the increased cases of vandalism targeting property of the company.

“We have been losing a lot of property to vandalism. We are urging members of the public to help us arrest all those involved,” one officer from the company said.

Police reports indicate that investigations are still ongoing as the suspects help with crucial leads.

The six will be arraigned in court once investigations are over.
