The Ngala school for the deaf is appealing for support from the county government of Nakuru.

The school's principal John Gachiga said the school has received enormous support from the national government and non-govermental organisations but the county government has not given them support.

Speaking Monday at his office Gachiga said that the county government of Nakuru promised to fund the construction of an administration block at the school but its yet to fulfil that promise.

"As a school we have received a lot of support from the national government and other bodies but the county government of Nakuru which is our host has somehow forgotten about us,"said Gachiga.

"I want to call upon the governor and his government to fulfil the promise they made of constructing an administration block for us and give us any other support they can afford us," he added.

Area MCA Stephen Kuria promised to make a follow up with the county government about the said promise.
