Thika Town MP Alice Ng’ang’a has urged her constituents to support the Jubilee government.

She said it’s the only government that can address their problems.

Speaking when she toured Mountain View Estate in Thika on Sunday, Ng’ang’a said the government has initiated development projects that have transformed lives.

She said the government will perform better if residents rally behind it.

The MP asked residents to shun alleged propaganda the opposition has been spreading against the Jubilee government.

She said the opposition's chief agenda is to criticise the government and make it fail.

Ng'ang'a added that Kenyans should be the people to judge the success or failure of the Jubilee coalition, and not politicians.

“The Jubilee government has transformed the lives of Kenyans compared to any government since independence and as Thika residents we must support it,” she said.

She said that soon, two boreholes will be sunk in Gatuanyaga and other areas within the sub county to ensure residents have access to water.

The MP also said that she is working on several programmes aimed at empowering women and the youth.

Meanwhile, the MP has supported the move by African nations to pull out of the International Criminal Court (ICC).

Nga’ng’a said that African nations should not be forced to be members of the ICC, arguing that the continent can establish its own criminal justice court.
