A section of Tala residents on March 1, 2016 expressed their joy to area Mp Stephen Mutinda Mule for his esteemed cooperation and hard work in ensuring that the building of water bridges in Tala town has been completed.
The project that begun last year was aimed at replacing broken existing bridges and installation of piping to enclose the drains.
Speaking today in an interview the residents lauded Mule saying that he has helped curb improper water drainage in the region.
"We have really seen the good work of our Mp since we elected him as our leader. We hope he continues working on other projects that will promote development in our region," said one of the residents.
They further urged their area Member of County Assembly Alex Kamitu to work closely with Mule and other leaders in machakos county in order to promote unity, change and development within the region.
The residents stressed on the importance of development projects within the area saying that little time is left for other projects that have not been implemented.
"As Tala residents, we will ensure that all development agendas that were set by our leaders are successfully met," added another resident.
