Two men linked to an attack on an army barracks that led to death of an officer are in remand for three days pending bond ruling.
Mr Mohammed M Kombo and Mahmoud S Mohamed had denied possessing four guns when they first appeared before Mombasa Chief Magistrate Susan Shitubi.
They also denied that on November 2, 2014, with others not before court, at the barracks in Kisauni, they robbed George Hongo of M4 riffle loaded with 30 bullets worth Sh450,000 and killed him.
