When it comes to revenue collection, Keroka town collects more revenue than Nyamira town and will be the second town center in terms of revenue collection in Kisii County. Hence, that defines Keroka as  a centre of interest to two counties.

It is believed that the collection of revenue in Keroka is more than sh200,000 a day and for any county to lose that money to another county, it would be a disaster.

Leaders have been planning to discuss the matter arising at Keroka but nothing has been done so far. When you ask the politicians from both Kisii and Nyamira counties, they claim the problems were solved and the happenings are what they don’t know.

Nyaribabri Masaba MP,  Elijah Moindi and Kitutu Masaba MP, Timothy Bosire, have been saying that there are no boundary disputes in Keroka, so what is there and who can say it out?

Traders need some peace of mind to do business and to have more investors but how can investors invest where there is no peace?
