Kisii University students have called upon their management to fasten the completion process of stalled projects in the university.
Speaking to this writer in an interview on Sunday, most students complained of lack of practical exposure that is required in their courses due to lack of enough facilities.
"Since I joined my first year, I have been taught too much theory without practicals, yet my course entails much of them," said Calvins Otieno, a 2nd year Animal Science student.
Otieno said he was forced to look for alternatives outside the university just to acquire practical skills for his course.
However, the University's chancellor Prof Godfrey Muriuki, who spoke during graduation on December 11, called on the government to allocate more funds to facilitate completion of stalled projects.
Some of the unfinished projects include ICT centre, lecture theatres and hostels.
Stella Kwasira, who will join the institution in January 2016, hopes that the infrastructural challenges will be solved before joining the campus.
