A Kisii University official has said the institution is ready to host the upcoming Kisii Entrepreneurship Summit (KES).
The summit will take place from 25 to 27 February at the university.
Speaking in an interview on Thursday, Public Relations Officer Ms Pauline Nyamiaka said everything is in place for the summit.
"The venue for the summit is ready. We are working hand in hand with Kisii County government to ensure the event becomes a success," she said.
KES is expected to promote entrepreneurship in Kisii, and to encourage the public to consider entrepreneurship and innovation as an alternative to employment.
Governor James Ongwae earlier said his main quest is to enhance service delivery to locals and to provide a conducive environment for investment.
