Kisii County boda boda operators have been advised to wear warm clothes during this rain season as one way of protecting themselves from diseases.
Kisii County community clinical health officer Kepha King’oina said this is the time they have recorded high rates of people being affected with pneumonia.
He thus urged residents to wear warm clothes to protect themselves from such diseases.
“I advise residents to make use of warm clothes during this period and protect themselves from diseases that come because the heavy rains,” said King’oina.
He also appealed to boda boda riders to take safety precautions so that they can protect themselves.
