Many say that private schools are there for purely business but I tend to disagree as they have improved education in this nation in terms of competition . This means the nation has been in a competition between the private sector and public sector where the government needs to know what is wrong in public schools in terms of performance.
The government under the Ministry of Education needs to strengthen measures of ensuring that public schools perform better than private since they have enough resources.
A while back, the Ministry of Education, through education officers, used to visit schools to counter check what was going on but nowadays none make such visits hence teachers do not perform their duties as diligently as they are supposed to.
