A middle-aged woman was Wednesday arraigned before a Kisumu Law court to answer charges linking her to possession of eight rolls of bhang and 80 litres of an illicit brew.
She, however, denied the charges before principal magistrate Thomas Obutu.
She was arrested on 4th December 2015 on her stall in Maseno after a tip-off from the residents.
According to the prosecutors, she was found with the 8 rolls of bhang in her stall and 80 litres of illicit liquor at her residential place in Nyawita.
She denied all the charges saying the contrabands belonged to her relative whom she shared a room with.
She was released on a Sh 20, 000 cash bail with a surety of the same amount pending a hearing of the case on 18nth February 2016.
