A youth and a minor were on Friday arraigned before a Nakuru court for allegedly robbing a bicycle, violently.

Gordon Omondi was accused alongside a 14 year old boy and others who were already charged, for allegedly using force before and after robbing Jeff Mwangi of his bicycle valued at Sh12,000 on January 3, 2016 at Nakuru Township within Nakuru County.

The two were also charged in another count alongside Antony Nganga, Nahashon Ngare and a 15 year old for violently robbing two mobile phones (Neon smart phone valued at Sh6,500 and Nokia Lumia valued at Sh 9,800) from both Mary Ngendo and Lilian Mugo on January 6, 2016 at Free hold area within Nakuru.

Appearing before Resident Magistrate Judicaster Nthuku, they all pleaded not guilty.

Omondi, Nganga and Ngare were given a surety bond of Sh100,000 with the same amount as cash bail.

The prosecution applied that the two minors be remanded at Juvenile children home.

The court also ordered that Gordon Omondi, Antony Nganga and Nahashon Ngare be remanded at Nakuru GK prison if they will be unable to raise the bond terms granted.

Their cases will be heard on March 1, 2016.
