Brand Kenya Board is determined to promote national pride and patriotism among the youths by making them responsible citizens.
Speaking during the North Rift Inter-county Youth Forum at Comfy Hotel on Thursday, Brand Kenya Board PR officer Geoffrey Mauomo said through its attitude change and empowerment programme, it encourages youths to take responsibility for their development.
“Brand Kenya Board aims at making youths to be more responsible through organising forums that are aimed at encouraging them to share their experiences and challenges and discuss their solutions," he said.
The officer said the empowerment programmes are aimed at promoting pride and patriotism and to highlight the significance of national symbol to youth.
"The dialogues are meant to provide a platform to exchange ideas on various issues, giving them an opportunity to share success stories with young successful Kenyans and inspire youths and also to change the mindsets about the victims of circumstance mentality," he said.
The officer said Brand Kenya will hold similar youth forums across the country to empower youths on how to become responsible citizens.
