A middle-aged man was on Thursday arraigned before a Mombasa Court to answer on charges of stealing nails.
Mr. Joseph Jewa was being accused of allegedly stealing 199 sacks of nails from Pan African Syndicate Limited where he is employed.

Magistrate Shitubi granted the accused his request and ordered for him to be released on a Sh500,000 bond with surety of a similar amount. The hearing will continue on November 2.
In the same court, a man who was facing charges of obtaining more than Sh4 million fraudulently was released on bond.
Mr. David Sigala was being accused of committing the offence on October 1 in Mombasa town where he allegedly obtained more than Sh4.2 million illegally.
The accused however denied the charges before the court and was released by Mombasa Chief Magistrate Susan Shitubi on a Sh2 million bond. The case will continue on November 5.
