Kiambu Governor William Kabogo has announced plans to partner with KRA to enhance revenue collection.
Speaking in Kiambu during a courtesy call by the KRA central region director Wilfred Okwemba, the governor noted that the county was keen on tapping on the property tax and the collaboration was timely.
KRA officials were in the area to offer recognition after Kiambu emerged as best county in tax compliance and revenue collection.
The partnership comes almost a year after the cabinet secretary for Information, Fred Matiangi, launched ‘Kiambu Digitika’ programme, which was rolled out on a pilot basis last December had seen county revenue collection increasing by 60 percent for the last 3 months.
