The Homeboyz Foundation in collaboration with Vision Sisters Foundation Ayany on Wednesday organised a forum to teach business people and those aspiring to be in business.

The forum which was held at Vision Sisters’ office aimed to empower traders on customer care service.

“The aim of this forum is to empower people through education on how to offer good customer care services in business,” said the main speaker Linda Chalker on Wednesday.

She urged all those in business and those aspiring to start businesses to have skills that will help them keep customers for a long period.

“Customers are always right, but you need to get skills which will help you know how to deal with different types of customers. As a business person, you need to know how to persuade your customers,” she added.

Chlaker, however, advised business people to know the advantages of the product or commodity they are selling so that they can easily persuade customers to buy.

She also said being polite helps one to be loved by the customers therefore and will always be coming to buy goods from their shops.

She told aspiring people to research the market to tackle their competitors since the market is wide and different customers prefer different business people.
