A man was arraigned before a Nakuru court on Tuesday for alleged theft of Egerton University properties.
Samuel Mwangi was accused of allegedly stealing property valued at Sh151, 170 at Egerton estate on the night of August 22 and 23.
He allegedly stole suitcases, water taps, camera, cloths, socks, blankets among other properties.
The court heard that Mwangi was with others who have not been arrested.
Mwangi was also charged on another account after he was found in possession of some of the properties valued at Sh36, 160 which is believed to have been acquire through stealing on the day of August 23.
Appearing before Principle Magistrate Bernard Ndenda, he pleaded not guilty.
He was given a surety bond of Sh30,000. The case will be heard on September 30.
