Residents of a village in Molo Sub-County woke up to a rude shock on Friday after recovering the body of a man dumped on Chiponde -Elburgon Road.

The residents of Chiponde Village, Elburgon Ward, said the deceased might have been killed somewhere else and his body dumped there .

Mr Jesse Kariuki , a local elder said there were treads of wheels of a car at the scene of crime, meaning that the man was killed somewhere and his body dumped at the scene.

“We discovered treads of wheels of a car meaning that the deceased may have been killed elsewhere and his body dumped here,” said Kariuki.

The Elburgon residents are yet to identify the body.

Confirming the incidence, Molo OCPD Mr Job Lesinkwa said police have launched investigations to establish who killed the deceased.

“Police have started to piece evidence together and trace the suspects,” said Lesinkwa .

He said they have not received any report about a missing man fitting the deceased’s description.
