The two schools, Stephjoy boy’s high school in Ndeiya and Stephjoy girls’ high school in Sigona which was set on fire within a short period of time killing two while ten injured is said to be an inside job according to the MCA .

when they decided to burn their dormitory.
“The minors should be investigated thoroughly since they must have associates who supplied them with the materials to conduct the cruel act,” said Mutonya.
He faulted the institutions management and its technical staff terming them as incompetents for the jobs insisting they should be on the list of suspects of the brutal inferno due to poor crisis management.
The Sigona legislator has further called on parents and guardians to provide counseling to their children and know about their peers to prevent future recurrent in different institutions.
He said that the police should not leave any stone unturned in finding the perpetrators behind the crisis who lured children to do their nasty and cruel behavior that killed innocent lives in the county.
