The National Alliance (TNA) party in Kisii County chairman Naftal Obare has asked party leaders to work together for the good of the party.

According to him, TNA stands to gain more ground in the 2017 general election if party leaders forge ahead in unity.

On Monday, the party conducted elections at Tendere Primary School in Bomachoge Chache Constituency to elect new leaders.

Speaking to journalists after the elections, the TNA chairman said; “I challenge all elected leaders under TNA to work together and speak in one voice. Our party can get good results in the next general election if we are united,” noted Obare.

“If anybody has challenges bring them on the table, we will look for the best solutions together and positively,” he added.

During the elections, James Ondari was elected TNA chairman for Bomachoge constituency, his deputy is Shem Nyarambo while Boniface Nyakwama was voted in as party secretary.

Other officials were Omboga Okemwa (organising secretary) and John Mouti (finance). Peter Mochama was the presiding officer.
