Nyaribari Chache MP Richard Tong’i has faulted his Nandi Hills counterpart Alfred Keter over his move to impeach Devolution CS Anne Waiguru.

Addressing journalists on Sunday in Kisii town, Tong’i faulted Keter’s plan to table an impeachment motion in Parliament against Waiguru.

Tongi said the motion will not succeed claiming that Waiguru is clean because she is the one who sounded the alarm over the alleged loss of monies at the National Youth Service.

“Waiguru is on record being a whistleblower against corruption in this country and when somebody is a whistleblower against corruption then that person is ready to serve and deliver to Kenyans,” said the Nyaribari Chache MP.

Legislature added; “Some months ago one of my colleagues brought the same motion to Parliament to impeach Waiguru and that motion never succeeded it was thrashed away. Let me assure Keter that he can’t succeed with his motion of impeaching Waiguru.”

Tong'i said Kenyans are interested in matters of development and not which leaders to impeach.
