A woman on Wednesday withdrew from court the case in which she had accused her husband of neglecting their three children before a Nakuru court citing reconciliation.
Beatrice Chepkorir told the court that she was left with the kids for weeks without the knowledge of her husbands' whereabouts.
"He had gone for two weeks without my knowledge and he came back later to tell me he was on a business trip. I understood him but I had already filed the case," she says.
Chepkorir also said that she wanted to withdraw the case saying her husband did not intend to abandon her and the children.
Gibert Ruto, the husband was accused of neglecting his three children at Kaptembwa Estate on diverse dates between August 2 and September 7 within Nakuru County.
Ruto told the court that he is unemployed and earns a living by working as a matatu conductor from time to time. He said that during the said period he had been called for a job to deliver potatoes and he left with out the knowledge of his wife.
State prosecutor, Chief Inspector, Sirorei Rop did not object.
