Parents from Riosugo sub-location, Nyacheki Division in Nyamache sub-county have been challenged to monitor their children's movements, to protect them against falling prey to terror gangs which will destroy and ruin their lives.
Nyamache sub-county Assistant County Commissioner, David Malonza has called on parents in the area to track their children's whereabouts and movements, to ensure they keep good company that will not ruin their life careers.
Speaking at Naikuru PAG Secondary School in Nyacheki Division during the school's prize giving ceremony, Malonza reminded parents from the area that the issue of terror gangs infiltrating into learning institutions was posing a serious security threat to children in schools, and there was need for parents to be vigilant on their children's movements.
“I am challenging parents to keep vigil on their children's whereabouts to ensure they do not fall prey to terror gangs which may ruin their lives and education careers, ensure you child keeps good company so that they don’t end up messing with their lives,” stated Malonza.
Malonza clarified that terrorists are not only limited to certain regions or ethnic groups, and should instead begin to understand terror as a security challenge that has infiltrated various aspects of the society across the country.
