The National Land Commission, Nakuru office has asked the public to stop hindering their service delivery further expressing confidence that all grabbed public land in the county will be repossessed.
Speaking in his office on Tuesday, NLC County director Frank Kibelekenya accused some individuals of rushing to the media to give conflicting information about the ongoing process.
He said the commission was a constitutionally enacted body tasked with protecting public land from illegal encroachment.
"We are not targeting any individual or group whatsoever. Let's us do our work because we have all the relevant documents verifying and differentiating between private and public land," he said.
This comes amid reports that a prominent Nakuru businessman David Thuo has moved to court to contest an eviction order from the commission on allegations that he was developing on a 200-acre plot meant for the construction of an airport.
The director believes that the commission is composed of professionals who are out to deliver their duties deligently without favouritism.
On Tuesday, Njoro residents forcefully ejected a private developer in the area accusing him of grabbing land meant for the construction of a cemetery.
