Kiambu County Coordinator of The National Alliance(TNA) Party Gladys Chania has urged men to play a proactive role in the provision of material and moral responsibilities to their families .
“Men, especially those who are drug addicts have fallen short of their family responsibilities," said Chania.
Speaking on Tuesday at Igegania Location, Chania Ward-Gatundu North during a funeral service of an ex-drinker, Chania urged men to do away with illicit liquor and focus on building their families.
She expressed concern over the devastating effect that the illicit liquor has on youthful generation.
Chania who is also a counselor said there is need for clergies and politicians to come together and shape the youth into respectable citizens.
“Clergies and leaders should be on the front line of guiding the youth against lethal liquor “, said Chania.
