Kisii County Public Service Management Director Alex Motari has urged county workers to be committed in their duties.
Motari who was addressing a section of county workers at the Kisii County hall on Monday said there was need for public service workers to develop a positive attitude towards work in order to develop the county and offer quality services.
He said the county will not tolerate lazy staff.
Motari also urged the public to report any county worker who solicits bribes so as to offer service.
“The county cannot accommodate lazy workers and once you are identified as lazy you will be laid off as we look for a replacement,” said Motari.
He took the opportunity to call upon the government and the teacher unions to come up with a quick solution so that learning can commence in public schools.
He added that students are losing more especially the candidates who have only a month to sit their national examinations.
