Nakuru county Governor Kinuthia Mbugua on Friday commissioned the committee that will steer the execution of the Nakuru county education task force report.
The report, whose drafting will involve various education stakeholders in Nakuru County will look into the factors contributing to poor quality education in Nakuru County and propose measures for enhancement.
Speaking at the commissioning, Mr. Mbugua said that it was important for the county to prepare itself fully in all aspects so that to achieve its developmental goals.
"It is worth noting that the challenges cited in the report are manageable and with proper planning, the issue can be solved with the right people enforcing the implementation process," he said.
The Governor added that the report will help bring on board marginalised areas such as urban slums, arid and semi-arid and rural areas and will serve as a platform for improving education standards in Nakuru County.
