Nyamira County residents will now benefit from Huduma Centre services after a branch was officially opened in Nyamira town to make government services more accessible.
Speaking on Monday in Nyamira town when she opened Huduma center branch , Huduma center chairperson, Jackline Otwori said for a long time, Nyamira residents have been struggling looking for various services at Kisii and other places because there was no centre in Nyamira.
She said that now they are going to benefit for the centre that was officially opened on Monday in Nyamira.
“We understand Nyamira county residents have been looking for the services far away. So NHIF cards, processing of National identification cards, NSSF, Kenya Revenue Authority PIN among others are going to be served here at Nyamira,” she said.
Nyamira County Commissioner, Josephine Onunga said that every Kenyan has a right to be served without being charged when processing some of the government documents.
"I urge you not to corrupt the ones who are serving you in order to process the documents for you," she said.
She warned all those who deliver government services to people not to ask for money in order saying corrupt officers would be caught up with.
