Juja MP Francis Munyua has cautioned Kenyans against animosity that led to the 2007 post-election violence where hundreds of  people were killed.

Munya who was speaking from Juja town to this writer on Thursday said that the utterances made by Nairobi ODM chairman George Aladwa were unwarranted and unfortunate.

He called for the arrest of Aladwa and swift prosecution saying his utterances were against the law calling for the National Cohesion and Integration Committee (NCIC) to summon him.

“The law is clear Cord or Jubilee one has to take responsibilities. We are tired of such leaders like Moses Kuria, Muthama, Mutahi Ngunyi and now Aladwa. They should be speaking from prison at the moment if this country respects the rule of law,” he said.

The legislator cautioned the youth against being used to cause chaos by rogue politicians while stressing that he would fight for peace in Kenya whether in or out of parliament.

The MP has told the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) to act with speed and prosecute any leaders accused of hate speech.
