Members of the clergy in Kiambu Sub County have welcomed the US President, Barrack Obama's trip to the country for the 2015 Global Entrepreneurship summit in Nairobi .

Some leaders are happy with the move where he will for the first time visit his native home Kenya, this is following the expected extraordinary entourage motorcade and security prior to the visit in preparation for his visit to the country.

Speaking on Friday morning before the church service at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in the area, Pastor David Waithaka stated that his visit will be of great impact to the country. He observed that his coming will accelerate the economic growth between the two states and the Sub Saharan Africa as a whole. 

He noted that President Obama's visit will also strengthen ties between the United States and Kenya as it will also prove he recognizes his ancestral roots. In an exclusive interview with Bishop Peter Gachara of Power of faith church said that it was good news to the country as his visit is not only categorized with business matters but full of advise to the country especially concerning security issues that has been of great challenge. 

He further noted that his trip will build on the success of the country as his efforts to work with other countries will strengthen democratic institutions among other things including security. Bishop Gachara noted that by visiting native land he will reap big public relation bonanzas. He mentioned that leaders who have visited their ancestral origin like Bill Clinton's visit in 1998 in Ireland, the crowd was large and there was considerable resonance with the Irish-Americas at home. The man of cloth therefore appealed to the citizens of all walks to warmly welcome the US president's trip for bilateral meetings to Kenya as he will be of great impact to his motherland and Africa as a whole.
