Kisumu County Voice Spokesperson Audi Ogada has challenged the county parents to promote education among their children as away to see growth is instilled.
Speaking on Thursday at a Kisumu hotel, Ogada encouraged parents to improve their relationship with their children and teachers as a way to enhance academic standards in the region, through team building and hard work in achieving success.
Ogada noted that some parents neglected their roles, by not giving their children educational requirements stating that this necessitated to educational failure on parents' side.
“We need to support our children's’ education by allocating funds towards educational materials. Students should too embrace their academic seriously as it is the avenue to most success needed in life,” said Audi.
He noted that for success to be realised, there should be a team work amongst stakeholders, teachers parent and student relationship.
His counterpart Beatrice Ogola who is also Parents Academic Voice Spokesperson challenged parents to highly invest in their children's education.
She added that for the children to become better and responsible citizens, they should embrace success in the educations sector.
