A 24 year old man was found dead Friday morning under mysterious circumstances in his house in Konate.
The man identified as Edwin Nyamwamu is said to have shouted for help from his neighbours and parents at around 7am from what seemed as pain but the neighbours failed to respond immediately since they believed he was drunk.
It is said that the deceased arrived in his house on Thursday night, 9pm while drunk and ate food at his parents’ house before he went to his room to sleep.
His father, David Nyamwamu, who could not tell what exactly happened said he just heard his son calling for help but he thought he was drunk.
Confirming the incident, the area Chief Justin Nyariski said the body had no visible injuries and he has already called the police so that the body can be taken to the mortuary.
He said the body will be taken to the Nyamira County Hospital mortuary for a post-mortem examination to determine the ultimate cause of his death.
